Moms

Moms need to stay strong and healthy to care for their families well. Being physically fit helps them handle daily tasks, reduce stress, and have more energy. Adding chiropractic care and ChiropracticPilates can improve posture, strengthen the core, and ease pain, supporting long-term health. Taking care of themselves is important for both moms and their families. A mother’s job is tough and needs physical and mental strength. Staying healthy helps moms manage stress and care for their loved ones. Eating well, exercising regularly, and practicing self-care help moms support their families and model a healthy life.

  • Pre natal – As the baby grows in utero, mom’s weight and posture changes which can lead to discomfort and pain. With chiropractic and Therapeutic Pilates, women can enjoy their pregnancy journey.

  • Post natal - Recovey from labour and c-sections is a difficult process. Using Therapeutic Pilates and gentle adjustments or acupuncture, moms can restore their energy, regain their strength and balance their bodies.

  • Diastasis recti – After pregnancy, the abdominal muscles can weaken split. This leads to pain and dysfunction, and leave women susceptible to injuries. Manual treatment and proper exercises are critical for recovery.

  • Breastfeeding and Blocked ducts – when breastfeeding issues lead to blocked ducts, lympathic drainage, and specific massage techniques can help.

  • Breastfeeding ergonomics – ensuring baby is latching and feeding well is important, but moms can also experience repetitive strain/postural strain in their wrists, shoulders or neck/back. A proper exam, diagnosis and treatment will help mom during their breastfeeding journey.
